Build-up of earwax is common
We offer safe earwax removal using the latest microsuction & irrigation equipment.
Our Audiology Specialists have undertaken and attended an appropriate accredited training course,
recognised by British Society Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA), in the safe removal of ear wax removal. In
addition, following completion of the relevant training course our clinicians performed many wax removal
procedures under supervision prior to leading the wax removal clinics.
The Procedure
Prior to the procedure you will be:
- asked to complete an ear health related questionnaire, which complies with the BAA guidelines, to ensure the treatment(s) is suitable for you
- asked to sign a consent form following full explanation of the procedure(s)
A detailed inspection of your ears will be undertaken before and after treatment, this can be either by
manual otoscope or videoscope which allows you to see the ear canal on screen.
